First photoshoot taken in Ukraine this summer. I got this idea with magic ribbons for a very long time, inspired by Sailor Moon transformation (I think you can guess, haha). It wasnt very simple tu pull out, but with help of 4 people, we made this kind of flying magic. I really like this magic feeling, hope you also do :3
However, I believe that this work can be improved by selecting proper cropping dimensions and points.
The ribbons, if not edited, makes a visual impact to the audience.
If you will edit this wonderful shot, you can give emphasis to your subject by darkening some areas and sharpening some. I hope my critique will help you with your future endeavors.
That's basically it.
I hope you can watch me as well. I'll be writing critiques if you need it.
Rotkäppchen did a wonderful cosplay of Madoka Kaname. It is well executed and you can tell that she studied the character. From what I can see, it is a flawless cosplay and exceptionally well done. The ribbons really add a different depth to the character and really shows well in this perspective.
Speaking of the perspective, I just have to say I am very much impressed. You took an extreme angle and ran with it. The ribbons are flowing extremely well in this frame and is in perspective as well. You have an illusion of a 3D effect as well with the ribbons as they are closer to the lens in the foreground.
My am a bit disappointed that the cosplayer is lost in this huge frame. She is dwarfed by the outside of the building and is almost lost in the immense size of it. I can see why you had to do it because if you did get closer to Rotkäppchen, then you would of lost the ribbons.
Overall, it is a very impressive photograph due to the unique angle of it.
