Microsoft Employees Disrupt Wii U Best Buy EventsRemember how Nintendo was showcasing some of their E3 games at participating Best Buy stores around the country? Well, apparently Microsoft employees have been hired to go to these events and preach about the Xbox One and make comments like "why would you buy a outdated Wii U when the Xbox One is right around the corner?"
However, the employees aren't getting what they hoped for. Most customers just start bashing the Xbox One in response. Seriously, Microsoft, the people attending these Best Buy Wii U events are people who are intimately familiar with the crap you pulled at E3. They ain't takin' your shit.
At first I thought this might just be a case of one really loyal Microsoft employee taking matters into his own hands (especially since the original source was /v/), but reports have come in from numerous Best Buy's around the country that indicate many Microsoft employees have ambushed the demo lines trying to persuade people to switch to the Xbox One.

Please Pants Responsibly (Paper Notebooks FTW)

There are two ways to write a novel. Plotting (you make an outline, a plan, a roadmap if you will, and then you sit down and write it) and pantsing (you write "by the seat of your pants, throwing caution to the wind). So when I get asked if I'm a plotter or a pantser, I'm all like er, uh, hold on, let me? Pantser? I think? But I kind of, um, do planny things?
And it gets kind of awkward because in these inarticulate moments I have managed to confuse everyone including myself. And probably spilled a drink.
In recent discussions, however, I've had a bit of a revelation, silly as it is. I've realized that I -- like many writers -- am a plotter/pantser hybrid. And perhaps what I'm doing is something we could call Pantsing Responsibly. And, maybe, just maybe, I could share some of my responsible pantsing tips with other writers. Starting with paper notebooks.

The Used Game ParadigmOver the course of this past generation I've been watching the video game market react to the way it's been forced to deal with increasing changes. I've come out against used game sales and even written a journal about boycotting GameStop because (like most people at the time) I believed they were the root cause of all the problems the video game industry has. But that's something I don't believe now as intently as i did then. From where I sit, piracy and used games sales are a problem, but not in the way game companies want us to believe that they are.
Used games are a good thing for consumers. We get to try games out, and if we don't like what we see or finish it early, we trade it in and try another title instead. It's a very good system for us since video game rentals are much harder to come by. SPIKE updatesJust thought I'd share with you guys some updates on the progress of finishing my "SPIKE" novel.
A lot of people have asked me how it's going, when it will be published and stuff. I really appreciate getting asked these things because it shows that people are actually interested in my writings, and that it just such a great feeling

I've got two news for you guys today though: one bad news and one good news. Let's start with the bad news.
I haven't finished writing SPIKE yet.
And I honestly don't know when it will be finished - which oddly enough brings us to the good news:
I've made a new, major decision in the SPIKE story that I think a lot of you will be happy to hear. As usual I don't want to spoil too much, but there is a part in the story where Spike and Sam are separated from each other for quite a long while. At first I was planning on only writing from Spike's point of view, like, what he's experiencing during this separation period. I figured that since he's the main cha

Shame on me, lately I havent answered on comments, because results of my mid exams werent impressive >_> So I am trying to put more time on Chinese learning to do my best on final exams at July, also I dont want to stop taking photos...

Last 3 weeks I was depressed by few reasons, I havent upload anything, havent take photos. Well, it was so bad, that I even think that I never will want to do it again

But than Fei

come to visit me and my friend, she was living with us for few days, and looking on her made me change my mind and stop my gloomy mood. She is so hard-working, she always carry her computer and tablet, and drawing, drawing till her back is hurt. And when I've asked her, she told that she draw every day and still thinks she isnt good (its not true, aaaaa!!!). Hearing this words made me realize that all that time I spend in misery is just wasting of time. Time that I can put in practice and made something really good. Maybe now I am still bad, really bad, but I need to keep going on...

And another happy news.

ALREADY 2 YEARS IN COSPLAY PHOTOGRAPHY!!!

Haha, last year was much productive than first one. If that time this tablet had 20 small windows, so now its THAT much xDDD Some of photos werent upload anywhere, some still in processing... Each photos represent one shoot. Well maybe I am not good enough, but I am work hard

Its strange but I am already took more photos of Asian cosplay than European... But I am insecure about it. Well, I think I can write few words. At first I was almost scared of taking photos of Chinese cosplayers. I mean, I saw million photos of Asian cosplay before, but when I started took photos of it, well... It was hard. Cause our styles are sooo different. I am still very worried about it, because I want cosplayers like photos that I take for them, but our cultural background is so different, so all the time I am unsure am I doing photos right >_> But am also feel honored by fact that I took photos of so many different people, and they all share my love for cosplay.
